Sprockets: votes = 15

to me, the perfect woman would be my missing half, and I to
her. spontenaity and impulsiveness are a must, both to remind me of
my own past and to balance out my present withdrawnness. creativity
of any form, as well as a dry wit and a love for kitsch.

physically, I’d prefer someone tall (from 5′6″ to 6′3″) and
definitely curvy. not a stick like the sorority girls I keep seeing
around, and definitely not spherical. someone with a good, cocky
smirk.

FROM WEIGHT BAIS “CHANGING MEDIA IMAGES OF WEIGHT”:

The media exerts a powerful influence on how we view ourselves. Chapter 3 reviews the literature on how weight is portrayed in the media and concludes that the media presents far more thin people than heavy people, and the heavy people shown are often in stereotypical roles. Media images can both promote and reflect cultural shifts. Positive images of overweight individuals are becoming more commonplace, and the plus-sized movement in the fashion industry has gained notoriety; however, it is too early to tell if there will be a genuine media transformation.

I wonder if becoming someone’s other half means that you can be more true to yourself because you don’t have to worry about the things you do poorly.

    Thank you and good luck,
    -Your Perfect Woman
