Dear Treesunrise, thank you for your participation!
Your Perfect Woman sounds very eco-conscious and healthy.

FROM WHY SHOULD I BE ECO-CONSCIOUS?:
//library.thinkquest.org/11353/ecoconscious.htm
What is “eco-conscious” anyway?
Being “eco-conscious” means being aware of what you are doing, buying, using, and what it does to the environment. For example, you might think, “Using a hairspray bottle is so convenient for fixing my hair.” If you were eco-conscious, though, you’d realize “Does this hairspray bottle have CFCs in it? Could I be participating in helping to destroy the Earth by using hairspray?”

I wonder what I’d have to do to both have money and work in “social justice, creative, activism, teaching conscious things”. I assume people in these areas generally don’t make a lot of money…
Thank you and good luck,

hey, pw,
since when does it take money to be a “social justice, creative, activism, teaching conscious things” person?
the whole point is to give up the trappings of wealth and live responsibly.
i would be willing to bet your perceived need for money is based on your desire for things which are antithetical to that lifestyle anyway.
you tree hater!

Dear Farbel,
Of course, you don’t need money to be a “social justince, creative, activism, teaching conscious things” person… but it was part of the request that she “has lots of money and shares it”.
So, I replied “It would be difficult to be this Perfect Woman because I don’t have a lot of money, and “social justice, creative, activism, teaching conscious things” people generally don’t make a lot of money.”
Thanks,
-Your Perfect Woman

ah, stupid me. i’m just distracted these days… maybe the idea is that you are already upposed to have a bunch of money and then you use all your spare time (when not getting manicures and massages at the spa or doing lunch) to be socially just, etc.

You would just need to meet more trustafarians. There are plenty of people who work in social and environmental justice realms with lots of money and other substantial assets. Without them much of the work would not be getting done as well as it is being done. While it certainly doesn’t represent the most gracious of aspects, the moneyed (mostly white) elites who have taken up passionate activism for social and/or environmental justice really help fund it across the planet.

“There are plenty of people who work in social and environmental justice realms with lots of money and other substantial assets.” True, but I am not a trustafarian, and they wanted someone who “has lots of money and shares it.”
So, the dilema is how do I become rich and work in “social justice, creative, activism, teaching conscious things”? I suppose I could get several jobs, but would that make me rich?
Thanks,

I know plenty of woman who dedicate their lives to social justice work that doesn’t pay and still have lots of money. They are sex workers!
