Nothingtypical:
Fritz Perls, the German Psychoanalyst, stated that every human relationship was either toxic or nourishing. That is to say, you’re either being fed or poisoned. There’s a simple test to determine which is happening. Spend some time with this person. At the end of your time together observe if you have more or less energy. If you have more, you’ve been nourished, if less, you’ve been poisoned. If you can’t count on the perfect woman to share life’s little victories with you, buy you a beer when your down or remind you when you’re being an ass but still leave you energized, you have been poisoned.
For me to avoid a life full of poison, the perfect woman will be someone on the same life path or a complimentary one to my own. I can’t imagine going through life hating my everyday existence. You should be passionate about your life’s mission, whatever it maybe, if not you aren’t ready for your “perfect woman”. My perfect woman will share, support and grow our common passions into something where it becomes indistinguishable where her ideas and goals start and mine end. To me, if these qualities aren’t present, regardless of physical beauty, I will always be poisoned.

Dear Nothingtypical, thank you for your participation!
Your Perfect Woman sounds supportive but focused, a likeminded life partner on many levels.

FROM FRITZ PERLS (1893-1970):

Perls developed and popularized Gestalt therapy, after his training as a psychoanalyst in Berlin, then Austria. He moved to South Africa, establishing a training institute for psychoanalysis there before developing his unique theoretical approach.
His work emphasized a phenomenological and subjective approach to therapy, noting that many of us split off our experience (thoughts, sensations, emotions) that are uncomfortable. One goal of his work is to move people into owning their experience and developing into a healthy gestalt (or whole). Perl’s book Gestalt therapy verbatim is an interesting description of this approach drawn from transcripts of his work. ******************************************************
I wonder if it is possible to become a person who nurtures rather than poisons or if it is a personality combination that makes this happen.
Thank you and good luck,
-Your Perfect Woman
